And they lived happily ever after...

Today's post is a digital page that I created for my brother's 3rd anniversary to my fantastic sister-in-law, Brienne. The picture was from their wedding day. Isn't she a pretty bride? She's a great mom to my nieces and nephew, a woman of faith and a loving wife. (Love you, Brienne and glad you're a part of our family.)

I have to admit, I am a person who enjoys feeling the paper, ribbon and all the texture of paper crafting. I think I was intimidated by the thought of digital scrapbooking. Not any more! I used "My Digital Studio" software. I love how easy it is to use and I love how I can incorporate my favorite Stampin' Up! images, colors and papers into a digital project. The software provides templates with designer pages you can just drop a photo into or blank projects that you can start from scratch. The possibilities are endless for cards, scrapbook pages, calendars and more.

Altered Notebook for my TSO friends

My dear friend Diane shared with me how to alter notebooks and today's post features just that. I started with a small notebook, removed the spiral and embellished the original cover with Greenhouse Gala designer paper, some card stock, ribbon and a matching stamped image. I love how it turned out and it was so easy to do.

I will be attending the TN Senior Olympics as a volunteer starting the end of this week. This notebook is one of three that I made for my friends on the TSO staff. They have been crazy busy preparing the event for nearly 1900 athletes. I hope this gift will make them smile out loud.

Let the games begin!

Greenhouse Thank You

Today's card is a thank you for my hubby's Aunt Bertha. One of my favorite summertime treats is cucumbers and homemade pickles. Aunt Bertha called Saturday night to tell me that she had three bags of cucumbers picked for me if I'd like to have them. I think they were bottomless bags because after spending a couple hours in the kitchen making pickles, cucumber salad and eating a few too...I still have so many left.

I used my favorite designer paper from the new SU! catalog for this project, Greenhouse Gala. Don't you just love how the Manhattan Flower embossing folder matches perfectly? The Basic Pearls are self adhesive and were so easy to use.

Welcome to my blog where I hope to share my love for crafting with you. Today's post is a card that I made as part of a 3X3 note card series.

My dad reminds me often of a time when I was a little girl and mesmerized by the birds in our yard one Spring morning. I asked him "Daddy, if I catch a bird, will you cook it?" Don't know where that came from but he spent the next hour watching me chase the birds trying to catch one. The cute birdie on this card reminds me of that story. Remembering it always makes me and my dad smile.

All supplies are Stampin' Up!
Stamp: Cheep Talk
Card stock: More Mustard, Old Olive, Tempting Turquoise, Real Red and Whisper White
Ink: Chocolate Chip,
Old Olive, Tempting Turquoise and Real Red
Accessories: Button from the Regals Collection, SNAIL and dimensionals

All of the products that I used are available for purchase through my Stampin' Up! website.

Would you be interested in hosting a workshop? I'd be honored to show you and your friends how to make this project.
